This varied career path and combination of professional skills has given Colin both breadth and depth of understanding and knowledge across the financial services market.

In one particular assignment he lead a team that took a failing business function that threatened to generate regulatory censure and qualified accounting statements, stabilised it and then turned it into a well controlled and effective operation avoiding any adverse impacts. More recently Colin assisted on one of the largest asset reorganisations without risk or market impact.

Over the years Colin has spoken at a number of conferences on the topic of outsourcing.

Colin has two addictions outside work.  One is his tennis racket – there are only two forms of weather for him.  It is either ‘tennis weather’ or ‘not tennis weather’.  The latter comprises only driving rain or lying snow.  The other is his now 43 year old car.

I believe the industry has a vital role to play in society to allow individuals to achieve their financial objectives. I get great satisfaction from the intellectual challenge that a constantly changing regulatory and competitive environment brings when assisting clients to achieve that.
